1. Donate
Online donations
The Music Fund for Cuba has teamed up with Just Giving to create a secure online donations facility for our supporters. Click here if you would like to make a donation to our work quickly and safely.
Set up a standing order
A regular donation is especially valuable, as it helps us to plan ahead with our partner organisations in Cuba. You can download a standing order form here.
Offline giving
To make a credit card donation call us today on 0207 490 5715. Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to ‘Music Fund for Cuba’ and sent to: The Music Fund for Cuba, c/o Unite, 33-37 Moreland Street, London, EC1V 8BB.
If you are a UK taxpayer, MFFC can make your donation worth 28% more at no cost to you through the government's Gift Aid scheme. Download a gift aid form here.
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is an easy and tax effective way to make regular donations to the Music Fund for Cuba. By making a regular donation through your salary or occupational pension the amount of income tax deducted is reduced giving you immediate tax relief so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you are a higher rate taxpayer it will only cost you 60p. Furthermore, why not ask your employer if they will match your gift?
All you need to do is download and complete the form and return it to MFFC. If your employer does not already have a payroll giving scheme in place it is quick and easy to set up.
2. Fundraise
If you are thinking of fundraising for the Music Fund (a sponsored run or special event etc) you can raise sponsorship money quickly and easily online with your own personalised webpage through our Just Giving pages. It takes only minutes to put your details on.
Friends and family will be able to support you by donating online with a credit or debit card - so no more running around with paper sponsorship forms, or chasing cash after your event! And if they are a UK tax payer, just one click and they can add 28% to the value of their donation at no extra cost.
Click here and you can start raising funds for the Music Fund for Cuba today. Or call 0207 490 5715 for more details.
Fundraising ideas
There are all sorts of events that supporters have participated in over recent years from running a marathon, to fundraising gigs and concerts, selling plants, donating proceeds from car boot sales, holding collections at their salsa classes or in their work places, selling items at craft fairs, the list goes on.
We are happy to help with any events that you organise or get involved with by supplying leaflets posters, fundraising t-shirts, branded collection tins and any other information or support that we can. For more information please email Natasha Hickman or call 0207 490 5715.
You may also want to take part in our annual charity bike ride across Cuba, the Cycle Cuba Challenge where you can also see first hand how your donations are helping.
3 Giving in celebration or memory
Giving in celebration
By including MFFC in the celebration of a special occasion you not only support us financially, but also increase awareness of our work.
Instead of collecting an array of unwanted gifts for your wedding, birthday or anniversary, why not make a difference by asking for donations to the MFFC and extend the goodwill of the occasion far beyond the day itself, supporting young artists and musicians in Cuba.
The easiest and most cost-effective way to collect donations from friends and family is by setting up an online fundraising page through our partner site www.justgiving.com/mffc
Alternatively, donations can be posted to us, by downloading our donation form.
If you want to thank guests at your celebration or memorial event for making contributions to the Music Fund on your behalf, we can provide MFFC thank you cards (each with an image from Cuba) for you to write your own message, and a leaflet explaining our work. Please contact Natasha at info@cuba-solidarity.org.uk or call 0207 490 5715 for more details.
Giving in memory
An in memoriam donation is a way to make a lasting tribute to someone special.
You may like to donate in lieu of flowers, organise a collection through your funeral director, host a memorial event, or even set up a tribute web page using our partner site www.justgiving.com/mffc.
Alternatively, donations can be posted to us, by downloading our donation form
If you have any specific requirements to discuss, please contact Natasha Hickman on 0207 490 5715.
Please feel free to contact Natasha if you have any other questions about this kind of gift, or to inform us that you will be requesting donations for MFFC in honour of an occasion.
Remembering the Music Fund for Cuba in your will
